- When you do create videos, keep them relatively short. Remember, people have short attention spans and they want information right now.
- Place the link to the URL you want them to visit throughout the entire video. This way, no one can snag it off of YouTube or Revver and use it as a marketing tool on their own site. In the event that they do, you’re URL will be front and center. Place the URL near the bottom of the page (see the video I did below).
- Use keywords in the video title and as tags for the video wherever you upload it. This will help the search engines find and index your video. This can get very tedious if you try and do it all at once with each individual service. Again, see the video below for a service that will do this for you.
- In the description of your video be absolutely certain you use the full URL of your site. This means placing the http:// in front of your website address.
Above all, just know that videos don’t have to be fancy. They just need to convey your message well and quickly.
