Who am I to teach YOU?
For those of you who don’t know who I am, my name is Kristine Wirth and it was 9 years ago that I first got interested in SEO and online marketing.
I’ve actively been working online for 13 years. Not only have I worked in SEO and online marketing for 9 of those years but have knowledge of PHP code and database creation and implementation.
Some of the more well known companies I’ve done work for are Working Mother Magazine and NAFE, the National Association of Female Executives, Limousine Digest, and various other smaller companies online.
When I first started to develop my own websites I quickly realized that I had to learn how to market those sites. Competition was getting fiercer every day. So I began to follow advice after advice, idea after idea, to quickly realize that just by going at my websites “ad hoc” that is, using an idea here and an idea there, it wasn’t moving me forward as quickly as I had hoped.
I finally realized that SEO was an actual process and not just a matter of running around blindly implementing ideas, I finally started to see results and have been following a proven plan ever since.
As the Internet has changed so have ways of marketing your site, and we all know that what worked as little as 6 months ago might not work today. That’s why it’s so important to keep on top of your online marketing efforts.
As people began to come to me for advice, I quickly realized that even though site owners knew that they needed to market their websites, they were completely and utterly confused as to how to go about it.
Not to mention that a few bad eggs had put people on guard. The bottom line is this, SEO is not difficult but it does require discipline. Nothing is going to magically happen overnight and you will not become a millionaire in a few short days by simply using some quick and dirty SEO techniques.
SEO is a process that is even suggested by Google themselves as a means to make your site more available to the masses.
